The problem

Household and business finances lived in two places: a mobile app with four years of history and an early version of Finezzi that stored data only in the browser. Nothing talked to the billing platform, and closing the month took manual work.

What we built

  • Migration of 3,470 transactions from the mobile app, from 2022 to 2026, with totals checked against the source.
  • Bank and credit card statement import with AI reading, a review screen, duplicate detection, and rules that learn how the owner categorizes.
  • Integration with the billing platform: mirrored charges and reconciliation between invoices and incoming payments.
  • An AI assistant that looks up, records, and imports by chat, with read-only permission when the task is a lookup.
  • Personal and business kept separate, with vaults, categories, and reports.
  • Installable as an app on mobile and desktop.
